Who We Are
OBJETI runs this website and our store in Achrafieh, Beirut, Lebanon. We decide what information our store collects and why. If you have a question about your information, write to us at info@objetilb.com or message us on WhatsApp at +961 3 511 676.
What We Collect
- When you place an order: what you ordered, your name, delivery and billing address, email address and phone number, and the status of your order. Orders are taken by our store on Shopify. Card details are handled by our payment provider and never reach us.
- When you subscribe to our news: your email address and your agreement to receive our emails. You can unsubscribe from any email we send.
- When you contact us: whatever you send us by email, phone, WhatsApp or Instagram, used only to answer you.
- When you create an account: your name, email address and order history.
- When you visit: we count visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which sets no cookies, does not follow you to other websites and does not build a profile of you. With your agreement only, we also use Google Analytics and Meta (Facebook and Instagram) to understand how the store is used and to measure our advertising. These set cookies and run only if you press Accept.
We do not ask for information we do not need, and we do not buy information about you from anyone else.
Why We Use It
- To take, deliver and support your order, because you asked us to.
- Because you agreed, for our news emails and for Google and Meta measurement. You can withdraw your agreement at any time, as easily as you gave it.
- To run and protect our store, for example to prevent fraud.
- Because the law requires it, for example to keep sales records.
How Long We Keep It
We keep your information only for as long as we need it for the reason we collected it, and for as long as the law requires us to keep sales records. Your news subscription lasts until you unsubscribe. Your cookie choice is kept for 12 months.
Who Else Sees It
We do not sell your information. We share it only with the companies that help us run the store, and only as far as they need it for that job: Shopify, which runs our store, checkout and customer accounts; our payment provider; our delivery partners; the service that sends our news emails; Vercel, which serves our website; and, only if you accept, Google and Meta. We also share information where the law requires it.
Your Rights
You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for a purpose such as marketing. Write to info@objetilb.com and we will reply as quickly as we can. We may ask you to confirm who you are first, so that we never hand your information to someone else.
Cookies
The store uses the cookies it needs to work, such as your bag, your sign in and your cookie choice. Google and Meta cookies are set only if you press Accept, and you can change your choice at any time from Cookie settings at the foot of our home and collection pages.
Keeping It Safe
Access to your information is limited to the people who need it, and traffic to our store is encrypted. No website can promise it will never be attacked; if something goes wrong that affects you, we will tell you.
Children
Our store is not intended for children and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. If the change matters to you, we will tell you.
